Office Manager

Responsibilities:

Our Office Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth office operations by overseeing administrative tasks, managing resources, and supporting staff. 

  • Assist in managing our ADP payroll portal
  • Record bills in QB, reconciliation, and facilitate monthly reporting
  • Serve as a point of contact for outside service vendors, keeping permits up-to-date, insurance renewals, scheduling services, repairs, etc.
  • Administrative support, including filing, copying, phone calls, hand-written notes
  • Tracking patrons groups
  • External communications
  • Organizational support, including planning and coordinating meetings and agendas, 
  • Policy implementation, including ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintaining and updating office manuals and guidelines as needed

Salary $22.00-$25.00 per hour. Part-time.

House Manager

North Coast Repertory Theatre is currently seeking House Managers to help run their front of house operations.  The ideal candidate is an easy-going team player with customer service experience, who can multi-task and problem-solve in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include management of the North Coast Café, lobby, and theater auditorium during performances; coordinating and ensuring the smooth operation of the Front of House (FOH) during performances, and in the presence of patrons; maintaining open dialogue with box office staff, stage management, and volunteers during shifts; generating revenue through food and beverage sales, including reconciling, reporting and depositing nightly; set-up and break down of FOH operations at the beginning and end of every shift.

This candidate will have practical knowledge of a live theatrical environment, or be willing to learn; possess experience working directly with volunteers and the public; have excellent interpersonal skills and an even temperament; exhibit experience to supervise effectively; including the mediation of problems with patrons, volunteers and staff; demonstrate strong organizational and management skills in a fast-paced environment with many disruptions; be able to sustain physical activity including remaining on feet for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, pushing carts.

Requirements: Must be 21 years of age, Must have a valid CA driver’s license, Must have reliable transportation.

Salary range $22-$25 hourly.

Box Office – Patron Services Rep

Do you love Theatre? Are you a people person?

North Coast Repertory Theatre is seeking a part-time patron services representative responsible for in-person and phone orders for ticket and season subscription sales. This position will be weekdays and weekends.

Must be customer-service oriented, have a consistently positive attitude, and work well under pressure, both cooperatively and alone. Responsibilities include: responding to patron emails, assisting with online ordering, cash handling, opening and closing tasks, and addressing patron problems as they arise.

Experience in customer service is a must! Other requisites are: multi-tasking, problem-solving, time-management, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; and proficiency in Google Docs. Previous ticketing experience using Theatre Manager by Arts Management is a plus but not required.

$16.00-$18.00 per hour.

Technical/Production

Run Crew
North Coast Rep is seeking backstage crew persons. Run crew will work alongside the SM and ASM through the tech period and run of the show. Duties would include handling props, costumes and assisting with scene changes. Experience is preferred. Pay is a weekly fee D.O.E.
