Welcome to our 44th Season!
A season brimming with a delightful mix of variety, music, comedy, and drama
From the hilarious pen of Paul Slade Smith, and the world-premiere comedy, Beside Myself, to Tony award-winner John Rubinstein starring as “Ike” in Eisenhower: This Piece of Ground; from an intense world-premiere drama, Louisa Gillis, to the heartwarming and charming family comedy, Beau Jest; from the world-premiere comic adaptation of Dashiell Hammett’s The Maltese Falcon, to the soaring melodies of Frank Loesser’s The Most Happy Fella; and concluding with a modern adaptation of a classic romp, Scapin — this season promises seven extraordinary theatrical journeys.

FAQs and Useful Information
Tickets for patrons with disabilities
Please inform the Box Office of any special requirements, e.g. wheelchair, difficulty with stairs, etc., at the time of ticket purchase.
We highly recommend calling the Box Office 858-481-1055 rather than purchasing online, as our Box Office is familiar with the theatre and is best suited to help you choose appropriate seats.
Wheelchair
The theatre entrance is at ground level. We can remove a seat so you can wheel right in to enjoy the performance, or you can transfer to one of our easily accessible seats. Our House Manager will be more than happy to assist upon request. Since this seating is limited, it is very important to book your tickets in advance. Make sure to inform the box office representative of your needs at the time of purchase, and we will make sure your visit is as easy and enjoyable as possible.
Assisted listening devices
North Coast Repertory Theatre offers assistive listening devices which are T-Coil compatible free of charge for all North Coast Rep main stage performances. Devices may be obtained at the will call window. A driver’s license or credit card will be required as a security deposit. After the show, you can drop off the device and retrieve your card.
Exchanges can be made with 24hr advance notice with a $4.00 fee per ticket, plus price difference if exchanging into a higher-priced performance. The $4.00 exchange fee is waived for North Coast Repertory Theatre Subscribers.
We do not offer refunds. However, you may donate your ticket back to the theatre and deduct it from your taxes. Tickets purchased at outside ticket outlets do not apply.
A $2.50 per ticket fee is charged on all phone and online orders. Purchase your tickets in person at our box office and the order fee will be waived. All subscription orders by phone, online, or in-person are charged a $.50 per ticket fee.
Late arrivals are seated at the discretion of the house manager. Latecomers may be asked to wait until intermission or asked to return to future performance. We encourage our patrons to plan ahead as weather and traffic may delay your travel.
Restrooms are located upstairs outside the theatre in the courtyard area. Restrooms reserved for our handicapped patrons are located in our cafe’.
Since this is Southern California, we do not have a dress code, except that shirts and shoes are required for entry. You’ll probably be most comfortable in casual business attire, but you’ll often see people in jeans, khakis, and other more or less formal wear. Some people enjoy dressing up and making a special night of it, and you can too, but most of all we want our guests to be comfortable. In consideration of other patrons heavy fragrances (perfumes/colognes) can be distracting and cause allergic reactions for some guests.
Please silence all electronic devices including cellular phones, watches, and pagers before the performance. All photography and recording devices are strictly prohibited in the theatre. If you use your cellular phone at intermission please do not forget to silence it before returning to the theatre.
Patrons are respectfully asked to check with our Box Office in regards to language and content for individual shows. All patrons must have a ticket regardless of age. No one under the age of 6 will be admitted to our Mainstage productions.
Lost and Found is located at the Box Office. If you have lost an item, please contact the Box Office at 858-481-1055.
Our Café is open one hour prior to curtain and during intermission. You can take water purchased from us into the theatre to enjoy during the performance. Credit cards are accepted.
We do not allow food into the theatre. We do allow water purchased from our cafe’ inside the theatre.
