Jeff Patterson

Jeff is the Managing Partner and Chief Legal Officer of Allen Matkins, an AmLaw 200 law firm with over 270 attorneys. In his role, he oversees the strategic growth and direction of the firm and management of all aspects of the firm’s operations.

In addition to his other management responsibilities, Jeff serves as the firm’s Chief Legal Officer, chairs the firm’s Compensation and Partner Selection Committees, is a member of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee, and helped establish and serves as President of The Allen Matkins Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt private charity that make grants for diversity oriented law school scholarships, as well as other organizations and programs that promote the Foundation’s mission of increasing opportunities in the legal industry. He also serves as the Director and the Underwriting Committee Chair for Attorneys Insurance Mutual Risk Retention Group.

Prior to becoming Managing Partner, Jeff’s practiced as a litigator in the areas of business, real estate, commercial landlord/tenant, construction, water rights, bankruptcy, receivership and creditor rights.
