A Little More About Benjamin

Benjamin is proud to lead the Theatre School @ North Coast Rep. He joined the staff over 8 ½ years ago and in that time has played many roles for NCRT including Artistic Associate, Office Manager, Casting Associate, Props Designer, Instructor, Fight Choreographer, Actor, and Director.

A middle child of five from a small town in Michigan, he always sought the spotlight. Since his first production he has never gone more than a month without working on a show. “I’m always preparing for my next theatrical adventure!”

Specializing in Shakespeare and stage combat, Benjamin is an Actor/Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors and Dueling Arts International, and regularly fight choreographs at local professional theaters and colleges.

His favorite part about being the Director of the Theatre School is connecting with new students and seeing their creativity and appreciation of the theatre grow during their time with us. “We welcome students of all experience levels and focus on their individual needs while fostering an environment of collaboration and cooperation with everyone.”
