“This is like my second home.”
– Christopher Williams, Associate Artistic Director at North Coast Rep.
A Little More About Christopher
Christopher has been working in the theatre for over 20 years as a professional actor, director, stage manager, fight choreographer, designer, and educator. He has been involved in 25 mainstage shows here at NCRT. He was also the founding Artistic Director of Oceanside Theatre Company before becoming our Associate Artistic Director.
Shakespeare will always be his first theatrical love. His last Shakespeare production was with North Coast Rep as Ariel in The Tempest. (He had to shave his head bald, was painted white, and wore a blue unitard!)
As a child, he played soccer for 10 years and thought he would make a career of it unless the astronaut thing worked out. He still hasn’t given up hope.
Much of the rest of Chris’s childhood centered around Star Wars. Actually, so does much of his adulthood. He has thousands of dollars worth of Star Wars collectibles and memorabilia.
And yes, he attends Comic Con every year!
The longest he’s been away from North Coast Rep since landing here was when producing the award-winning film “Walking With the Enemy” in Europe. He wore multiple hats, including acting in, location scout, casting, writing, and key art designer. You can view it through Amazon Prime. (CLICK HERE to watch the trailer.)
