Marsha Janger
Solana Beach has been my home for almost 30 years. I was born in Oklahoma, brought up in Texas and where I raised my own family. (I graduated from The University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Social Science.)
For 20 years I worked in search, headhunting, and retired as CEO of PowerWorks International, an executive search consultant firm focused on the power industry.
My husband of twenty years and I share an interest in the theater and the arts and have regularly attended North Coast Rep for more than 25 years. We support numerous local and national non-profit organizations. I am an avid learner and have participated in the Osher Institute at UCSD for 15 years, including directing and acting at Osher’s Theatre World. My most recent service work has been as a docent, focusing on underserved children, at the Mingei Museum Int’l, and I also have enjoyed extensive volunteer work in Africa and India. I love traveling to less Westernized countries, exploring and immersing myself in diverse cultures, and collecting native indigenous crafts. I also collect antique Wedgwood biscuit barrels .
Richard and I live in Del Mar with our exceptional canine companion, Samantha. I have three children, eight grandchildren, and one step daughter.
I am delighted to be joining the NCR Board.
